Chadwick Boseman’s Pastor Brother Revealed The Prayer he Prayed for him a day to His Death


Chadwick Boseman’s older brother, Derick Boseman, a pastor at New Covenant Baptist Church in Murfreesburo, Tennessee, revealed that few day’s to the actor’s death: “I changed my prayer from, ‘God heal him, God save him,’ to ‘God, let your will be done.’ And the next day he passed away.”

The prayer changed when late Chadwick told his pastor brother: “Man, I’m in the fourth quarter, and I need you to get me out of the game.”

I an interview with New York Times, Family members of Chadwick Boseman revealed that Christianity was central to his childhood and career.

They disclosed that the ‘Black Panther’ star attended church regularly, which gave him a firm Godly foundation in life.

He bought hundreds of tickets for needy children so they could watch his movie. and founded his own charity.

It was unpacked that, he sang in the church choir with his brothers as a kid.

Media report confirmed he quoted scriptures when he gave a commencement address at his Alma Mater, Howard University, in 2018.

His family’s revelation about the lad who grew up in Anderson, South Carolina, confirmed he was always visionary.

Before he passed onto glory, he was famous for his role as Marvel’s Black Panther. He gave up the ghost after suffering from cancer.

His two older brothers confirmed he was very talented: hence becoming an actor was natural.

His older brother, Derrick said Chadwick is one of the most gifted persons he ever knew.

Chadwick Boseman died of cancer on September 3, 2020.
