Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) allegedly that the founder of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), SBJ Oshofa had 34 wives and this angered some people from the white garment church.
Prophet Soyemi from the CCC said: “I’ve never heard anytime that Prophet SBJ Oshofa said he married one wife when he started this journey (ministry work). What he has said all along is that he married three wives because he could not get a child early enough. He also said he waited for twenty good years because of one woman”.
The prophet who spoke with AsabeTV said the claim was a figment of Pastor Adeboye’s imagination.

In an audio message that went viral, pastor Adeboye was heard saying: “That time everything was Cele, Cele, Cele. But the man in charge said when he started, he had only one wife and now he had 34 and his power is increasing, so you know the (source of the power)”.
Prophet Shoyemi said based on the holy lifestyle he had seen in late Prophet Oshofa, he would not mind to be in the lake of fire with him as people claim the prophet might be burning in hell now.
The CCC prophet acknowledged that pastor Adeboye is a great man of God but has committed a serious error on his claim. He said he would not want to allow the devil to use him to insult pastor Adeboye but the truth must be told.
